In order to relieve the load on the server, applications are being ported to a new server. This work has started, and is due to be completed at 15:00 UTC on 20th February 2012. During this period the above products should be available, however no new updates will be made to the product SEAICE_GLO_SEAICE_L4_NRT_OBSERVATIONS_011_006 until the work is completed.

On 10th January 2012 there was an upgrade of the MyOcean service from V1 to V2. Included in this upgrade was an improvement to the product ARCTIC_ANALYSIS_FORECAST_PHYS_002_001_a, and the introduction of the product ARCTIC-ANALYSIS-FORECAST-BIO-002-004.
However it has been found that between 10th January 2012 and 13th February 2012, the version of ARCTIC_ANALYSIS_FORECAST_PHYS_002_001_a available through the MyOcean web portal was the V1 version, rather than the upgraded V2 version.
Furthermore, whilst ARCTIC-ANALYSIS-FORECAST-BIO-002-004 could be accessed through the MyOcean web portal, the data available were from a test data set, rather than the official product.
Both of these issues were fixed at 14:00 UTC on 13th February 2012, and the correct version of each product is now available through the MyOcean web portal. The differences between the different versions of the products were small, and so any impact on users should be minimal.

Due to a hardware fault, the 12th, 13th and 15th February 2012 updates of the product IBI-ANALYSIS-FORECAST-PHYS-005-001-b will be delivered with a major delay. It is hoped that the problem will be fixed within a week, and a further announcement will be made once the products are available.

Further to INC445817 of 31st January 2012 we are continuing to experience problems with the product ARCTIC_ANALYSIS_FORECAST_PHYS_002_001_a.
Forecasts for this product for the period 15th - 24th February 2012 have failed to be produced, and so are unavailable. Investigations into the cause of the problem are ongoing, and we will provide an update once the incident has been resolved.
